Huckerby & Ostler met at the University of Nottingham in 1993 where they bonded over a shared love of the ALIEN and EVIL DEAD films. Twenty years later their writing partnership is still going strong. In TV they have specialized in Comedy and Animation, while in Features they have sold scripts in a range of genres, including Sci-Fi and Horror. THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!

October 2014: Exciting news from Cannes where ITV Studios' huge reboot of Thunderbirds was screened at MIP - and we were very proud to learn that it was our episode which was used for the premiere! DANGER MOUSE RETURNS!

June 2014: After months of keeping it top secret we can now reveal that we are writing episodes of a new series of DANGER MOUSE which will be returning to TV screens worldwide in 2015! Crumbs.

HOWL GOES INTO PRODUCTION! 

May 2014: HOWL, our werewolf film, begins principle photography on the 27th of May! Shooting in London, it's directed by Paul Hyett (The Seasoning House) and starring Ed Speleers (Downton Abbey) Shauna Macdonald (The Descent) and Elliot Cowan (Da Vinci's Demons).  We couldn't be any more happy, nervous or excited! EMMY NOMINATIONS FOR PETER RABBIT! 

May 2014:  We are delighted to have been nominated for an Emmy Award for our work on PETER RABBIT - Outstanding Writing, Pre-School Animation (along with our co-head writer, Justin Trefgarne). 2013: Really proud that Peter Rabbit's Christmas Tale was nominated for Best TV Animation at the Irish Film and Television Academy awards! 

 


 

Peter Rabbit's Christmas Tale clocked up 3 million viewers on Nickelodeon in the US making it the most watched pre school show for that week! It also had a prime time broadcast on Christmas day on BBC 1.
